Associates work on deal teams originating and executing a wide variety of advisory and capital raising engagements. Associates take on a leadership role in all execution work and supervise junior staff members on financial statement analysis and model development, valuation analysis, industry research, and the preparation of various presentations and documents including offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions, strategic alternatives assessments, and client presentations. Associates serve as an important day-to-day contact with clients on transaction work and interact with new client prospects, potential buyers/investors, prospective financing sources, attorneys, and accountants. Additionally, Associates at BellMark Partners are typically given more responsibility, client exposure, and senior banker attention than junior bankers at larger investment banks due to its entrepreneurial, boutique investment banking culture.


  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum three years of investment banking, public accounting/transaction advisory, leveraged finance, or private equity experience
  • Series 79 (or Series 7) and Series 63 certified preferred, or willingness to sit and pass exams promptly
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, quantitative, and writing skills
  • Demonstrated team player through sports, extracurricular, and/or community activities
