The candidate will play a critical role in the firm, working on 3 – 4 person deal teams and reporting directly to the Managing Directors. A Vice President takes on a leadership role in all execution work and supervises junior staff members on drafting and preparing offering memoranda and management presentations, financial modeling and valuation analyses, compiling and managing data rooms, and preparing fairness opinions, strategic alternatives presentations, and pitches. A VP serves as an important day-to-day contact with clients on transaction work and interacts with new client prospects, potential buyers/investors, prospective financing sources, attorneys, and accountants. Additionally, VP’s at BellMark are typically given more responsibility, client exposure, and senior banker attention than bankers at larger investment banks due to its entrepreneurial, boutique investment banking culture.
